Talk on the Declaration of Independence by Dr. Amy Noel Ellison

The Los Altos Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution invites community members to attend a free talk by Dr. Amy Noel Ellison, Curator and Director of Exhibitions on “Journey of the Declaration of Independence: From 1776 through today.” The nation's 250th anniversary presents an opportunity to reflect upon the Declaration's ideals and how we can better ensure its promises of freedom and equality for all. Dr. Ellison's talk will explore the Declaration of Independence's long history and continued relevance to American society today.
