2024 Special Speaker California State Controller Malia M. Cohen


We are thrilled to announce that State Controller Malia Cohen will be attending the 2024 State of the Cities Luncheon as our opening speaker. As chief fiscal officer of the world's fifth-largest economy, Controller Cohen's primary responsibility is to account for and protect the state's financial resources.

The program includes the presentation of the Walter and Marie Singer Award.
The 2024 Walter and Marie Singer Award recipient is Tracie Murray.
