Movie Premiere Midnight Train
Justice Vanguard, an organization dedicated to fostering communities of purpose through education, is pleased to announce the premiere of its film, Midnight Train. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Los Altos Community Center, located at 97 Hillview Avenue, Los Altos, CA, 94022.
Midnight Train is a compelling documentary that unveils the untold story of Kiyoshi Taylor's grandfather, who, after a harrowing encounter, embarked on a life-changing journey from the South to Ohio. Through this powerful film, Justice Vanguard invites viewers to explore the enduring legacy of Black resilience in the face of adversity.
Justice Vanguard Production Studio, the creative powerhouse behind 'Midnight Train,' serves as a hub for empowering youth, preserving cultural heritage, and producing high-quality media. Our studio's mission is not only to craft compelling documentaries but also to educate the next generation of storytellers, ensuring that the rich tapestry of our community's narratives is passed on. Through mentorship programs, hands-on training, and the development of professional media, we're dedicated to bridging the gap between generations, fostering creativity, and amplifying underrepresented voices.

What to expect: There will be open seating for all attendees and delicious food (including vegetarian and vegan options). We will have artwork displayed from local artists including Emory Douglas, the original Black Panther artist. Then of course, we will play the film for everyone and have a panel discussion following it.
