For nearly 240 years, the U.S. Constitution has shaped our country even as it has been actively amended, interpreted, challenged, and debated. Join us in Mountain View on National Constitution Day to reflect on this document which continues to influence our rights, our freedoms, and our responsibilities to each other. Retired Santa Clara Superior Court Judge LaDoris Cordell will emcee the evening, which will feature a diverse lineup of speakers reflecting our community: educators, scientists, artists, musicians, faith leaders, veterans, elected officials, civil rights advocates, labor organizers, attorneys, journalists, and youth leaders (even a 10-year-old!). Each will share a unique perspective on what the Constitution means to them. Come at 6:30 for refreshments and conversation; program starts at 7:00 pm.
