About Don Cecil:
Don Cecil has been providing public and government affairs consulting to corporations, public agencies, trade associations, and nonprofits in the Bay Area for over 15 years. As the Vice Chair of Governmental Relations at Chamber San Mateo County, he brings innovative and strategic thinking to his clients, including Comcast, Dignity Health, Castilleja School, Chevron, PG&E, and the Palo Alto Housing Corporation.
Prior to starting his own firm, Don managed more than 30 successful campaigns for city council, the board of supervisors, and state assembly, as well as ballot measures that secured over $1 billion in funds for local school facilities, the new Valley Medical Center Hospital, and transportation improvements.

The Los Altos Chamber Government Affairs Committee studies, analyzes & formulates positions on issues affecting the Los Altos business community, makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on public policy positions, monitors government actions & communicates chamber positions to appropriate officials to encourage positive actions, attends city council or commission meetings and expresses chamber opinions.
