David Adams is a Mountain View resident\, and the Music Director of the Foothill Symphonic Winds. regards\, Ann Join us at 9:00 am on Thursday July 3 for a Flag-raising ceremony at the Los Altos Post 558\, kicking off our local "America 250" celebrations. The United States will mark its "semiquincentennial"--its 250th anniversary-on the July 4\, 2026 anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. The semiquincentennial will be celebrated with multiple events nationwide\, over a couple of years. July 3rd\, we'll launch our celebrations with a brief ceremony and local trumpet player @David Bruce Adams performing "To the Colors" as we hoist the DAR America 250 Flag. Please join us\, and bring friends! 9:00 am July 3 American Legion 347 1st St\, Los Altos (across from Draegers Market in downtown Los Altos)
